One of the things that keeps me around (besides laziness and an instinctive resistence to suicide), is to see all the crazy shit that is inevitably going to happen in my lifetime.

Bipedal robots, nanotechnology, cloning, alternative fuel sources, planetary exploration, cultural revolutions (one of which is the internet), ad busting, culture jamming, phenomenology, new art movements (la la!).

The trip might be long tedious and pointless, but the view is sometimes nice (although sometimes revolting). If nothing else, do something amusing with your lives so the rest of us can be amused.

It's fun to lose and to pretend.

an appreciation for irony can be very helpful in keeping the angst at bay.
